It is so odd how things can end up and in the first week of the playoffs, two non-playoff teams post the two highest scores for the week! Sprouts and Nextyearautodraft outscored everyone as only one playoff team, Joe’s Pats, managed to crack triple digits.
Big congratulations this week go to Nextyearautodraft for leading the way and putting up 127 points! Jens got 58 points from the Manning-Beckham connection (27 for Eli and 31 for ODB), plus both of his runningbacks scored 20 points (DeAngelo Williams and Lamar Miller). This is Jens’ third Weekly High Score prize of the season after having snagged it in Weeks 7 and 8. Well done sir!!
In the Wildcard playoff games, both lower seeded teams pulled off upsets with Joe’s Pats knocking off the Midnight Maulers by 13 points and American BadAss pulling out a nail-biter over Coors Light Drunk Guys 78-72. Joe’s Pats now take on Bubble Crap Bandits and American BadAss will face my Scottish Rebels.
Only two weeks left of the season, who is going to take the championship?!?
